Running journal #4

The 4th run and my first run without my flat mate, so I could completely focus. and I can to a conclusion – There comes a point where I need to stop using my flat mate as an excuse and come to terms with the fact that I am totally not the runner I was one year ago.

The past few runs with my flatmate m I kept thinking, “man, when I’m on my own I’m gunna be sprinting.” Well, that wasn’t the case. I did run 10km within an hour and I ran a total of 12km. So that’s something, guess.

I also reduced my average minutes per km by a whole minute too, which I’m really happy with. 6.06min per km. It still killed me and it shouldn’t have. I should have done 12km within an hour and minutes to spare, but we’ll get there. Eventually.
