I beat my 10km time again! Only just, but still. 10km in 59:15. As long as I can keeps shaving seconds off every run I’ll be happy.
It was all in the last two kilometres. In kilometre eight I slowed down to chat to a friend, so I had to make up some time. In an urge to beat my 10km time, I ran the fastest kilometre since these quarantine freedom hours were put in place.
There were a few things working against me too. It was windy as hell And I had drank two beers right before the run. If it wasn’t for those things my run would have been faster. Granted I could have not drank those two beers, but what else am I going to do?
